Camfil Farr, the world leader in clean air technology, is now on a European road show to raise awareness about the importance of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and demonstrate the benefits of effective air filtration.
In the coming months, a trailer equipped with advanced equipment will be touring major European cities to track and compare live air quality data and provide information about the harmful effects of air pollution, which directly affects air quality indoors, where people spend about 90 percent of their lives.
“Air pollution and poor IAQ have become public health concerns and we want to raise general awareness about their impact on human health, well-being, performance and productivity,” says Bill Wilkinson, Camfil Managing Director.
“At the same time, knowledge about the importance of IAQ is limited. Our mobile exhibition is designed to inform politicians, the public and the media about the importance of breathing good quality air in the premises where we work and live.”
With test equipment, lab stations and film presentations, this unique exhibition-on-wheels clearly shows the type of pollutants that “invisible” ambient air contains.
The mobile exhibition is also designed for industry professionals and experts, who are also concerned today about the energy consumption of building ventilation systems, which can be significantly decreased by choosing the right filtration solution. “When we talk about IAQ, we also mean clean quality air supplied in an energy-efficient and sustainable way with our filters,” comments Bill Wilkinson.
